Teaching Arabic as a Second Language (ASL)

Al-Hikmeh Institute is a non-profit organization, which has been teaching Arabic to children and adults for over 12 years. Again, this Winter we at Al-‘Hikmeh Institute would like to use our experience to introduce for the first time Advanced Arabic as a second language to anyone interested in learning Arabic language.

Introduction to Arabic Language (reading, spelling, understanding short sentences)

Course Objective:
The objective is to teach students the basic Arabic grammar, sentence structure, general basic conversation, and help students understand and speak Arabic. At the end of the semester the student will know at least 500 Arabic words and will be able to carry out a good conversation in Arabic.

The Institute has adapted a special designated Curriculum for beginners, and the next level.

Duration: Two classes per a week for 90 minutes a class.

Date: The class runs from 12/05/2005 through 4/27/2006

Days: Mondays & Thursdays

Time: 7:00 pm to 8:20pm

Fee for Class and handout materials: All handouts are provided. The Arabic text books are not included on the monthly Fee
